Have you ever had an unexpected event happen in your life that only your faith could help you through? That is the question WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams asked of listeners, She explains that a life of faith can prepare us for many unexpected things. God gives us a cross that he designed for us alone. The Catholic Church teaches we are not alone in our suffering.

Marylyn called and has a friend who has suffered since losing a child. She asks why God would do this. What good did this do? Johnnette explains that every joy has a cross. We must look for the blessings and be faithful. Anne had he husband commit suicide She has offered the pain of this lost to God. She prays for others around her. Johnnette tells her it is OK to weep during this time. Jesus did twice in the Bible. Caller Pam did not want a child- at all.

After a surprise pregnancy she lost 2 children and then adopted a child that is the light of her life. Johnnette shares that you may have a plan but God may give you another. Joe wants to know how these women do it. As a man he wants to fix things. Johnnette says that trials and suffering make us stronger wither you are a man or woman.
