Honor Your Parents “We are all called to be an example of Jesus” says Johnnette Benkovic, host of WOMEN OF GRACE. She explains that God uses us every day. Caller Annette is a grandmother who God uses to teach her grandchildren. She does not understand how this generation of kids does not ‘honor their parents’ like they did when she was growing up. Johnnette says it is the pressure of the times. Growing up in the 50’s when everything was important to God. We lived in a Judo-Christian culture. This was supported by culture, education and media. After a rebellion in the 60’s people turned from God and not honoring parents.


She suggested setting boundaries for her grandkids. Caller Rachel also said in teaching children you need to be firm and loving. Johnnette added that there should be not waffling.
