Johnnette Benkovic, host of WOMEN OF GRACE, shares her love of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. The Little Flower had a great love of Jesus even in her trials and difficulties. She talked about feeling abandon by God in her painful life with tuberculosis. Saint Thérèse still hung on and prayed the Rosary leaning on Our Blessed Mother.

With each mystery we learn from Mary as who can teach us and knowns more about Jesus than His mother. She felt close to Him especially as she thought about the cross and in the pain Jesus felt a sense of rejection or abandonment. This suffering perfected Saint Thérèse. How many people in Purgatory did her suffering save? Caller Toni called and has lost her fiancé just days after Easter. Her heart is in pain. Johnnette shares that she needs to lean on the Rosary. Even if she can not pray just holding the beads are a start. Toni needs to offer her tears and suffering to Jesus.

Johnnette shares the feeling s of losing her son and how the Holy Spirit said to her “ You gave him an earthly life and give him a spiritual life.” Steve call and said in adoration Saint Thérèse offered him a rose. This was a sign for him to become a deacon. Caller Lilly said she is envious of her friend’s house and was happy when they did not like their new home.
