Host: Johnnette Benkovic

Johnnette Benkovic, host of WOMEN OF GRACE, shares a reflection on the Annunciation. This is the time when Mary said yes and felt Jesus in her life at that moment. She explains that at every Mass the priest holds his hands over the gifts and the Holy Spirit comes in and transforms the bread & wine into the body and blood of Jesus.

That same event happened to Mary as she offered her gift to God. We each have an Annunciation moment and Johnnette ask listeners to share theirs. Dave on Youtube tells about a time at Mass with Pope Benedict when afterwards he was hungry for the faith. Annamarie write about how she received Grace like no other time when she was near death. Caller Ericka tells of her having a suffering illness and felt close to God during that time. God was caressing her through the pain.

The son that caller Gina gave up for adoption came back to her 8 years ago on the feast of Annunciation. His adopted parents raised a good Catholic man. Lita called and shared that she left the church during the priest scandal and leaned to Eastern religion and yoga as she was hungry for a belief. God showed her the way back to the Catholic Church on December 12- the day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Johnnette shares God gave her a special gift and explained the meaning behind that important date.
