On today’s WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Benkovic expounds on the mystery of the Passion of Christ. During this Holy Week ( and everyday) we must embrace the power of the passion. This is the power that rose Jesus from the dead. Caller Julie shared how she prepared for Lent and Holy Week by turning off the TV and praying more. Johnnette says that God delights when we pray to Him. He wants us to have conversations with him and not just reach out when we are in need. Robin called with a “mother wound.” Her adopted mother told her she wished she never raised her. She now has turned toward Mary as her spiritual mother.

Johnnette explains that Our Blessed Mother’s love for us is very real. Dr. Elizabeth Rex called in to talk about New Yorks new “ Choose Life” car tags. Both Dianne and Trang called with the same issue. They are in long term relationship where the man will not commit to marriage. They both have asked for intimacy to stop as they get closer to God.
