This session begins with reflections on how Catholic women leaders can put their influence at the disposal of God. Several participants share how the Lord is working through them and their influence to impact others. Mary Dillenback, Regional Coordinator Liaison, then leads a teaching on the importance of humility, drawing on lessons from the bible and the writings of numerous Saints and Church leaders. We learn how the humility modeled by the Blessed Virgin Mary provides the essential foundation for growing in self-knowledge and virtue and in turn fulfilling our mission as Catholic women leaders. In this month's meeting Mary Dillenback, Regional Coordinator Liaison for Women of Grace, explains the 10 evangelical virtues of Our Blessed Mother and how all of us are leaders by virtue of our Baptism and Confirmation. As Catholic women leaders, we are called to put our faith into action each day and to "claim our influence" by recognizing the positive impact we can have on our circles of influence -- from immediate and extended family to co-workers, friends, and community.
