At the Foot of the Cross: God's Infinite Mercy
"...by His stripes, we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

Our culture and our world are in the throes of spiritual warfare and daily we battle to keep sacred our bodies, our marriages, our families, our homes, our place of worship, and OUR FAITH. Often we find ourselves at the foot of the cross, uniting our sufferings to Jesus, THE Sufferer. Through prayer and the sacraments, God’s grace and mercy are available to us! He has provided for us all that we need to be healed, to pick up our cross, to follow Him, and to bring His mercy to others. Join us for what is sure to be a profound retreat as we learn to stand at the foot of the cross of Christ, turn to Mary, our Mother, for her intercession, and transform our world through God's Infinite Mercy!

Event Speakers

  • Johnnette Benkovic Williams

Johnnette Benkovic Williams is Founder and President of Women of Grace®, a Catholic apostolate for women featuring a number of outreaches including conferences, media, study groups and more.

After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, Johnnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith in 1981. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: sharing the Gospel message through the utilization of media. She has been an inspiring and consistent presence on EWTN Catholic radio and EWTN Catholic television for over 30 years.
  • Father Nathan Cromly

Father Nathan Cromly is an informative and engaging speaker, writer, retreat leader, explorer, innovator, educator, and fire-starter for the Lord. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, he has joyfully served as a Catholic priest of the Brothers of Saint John for 11 years, and currently ministers in Denver, Colorado. Father Nathan’s spiritual direction, teaching, and dynamic witness have touched the lives of tens of thousands of children, teenagers, married couples, business professionals, and families.

Father Nathan’s ministry has flourished by God’s grace. He began Eagle Eye Ministries in 2003; it is now home to six forms of outreach to teens and young adults. In 2015, he opened the Saint John Institute (SJI) —a unique program in which young adults earn an accredited Masters degree while receiving spiritual formation from the Brothers of Saint John. In the Spring of 2018, SJI celebrated its first graduating class, sending its graduates to work for the Lord in the for-profit world. Inspiring and

equipping great talent for the Lord’s harvest, Eagle Eye Ministries and the Saint John Institute serve to raise up the spirit of the new evangelization in young people and send missionary entrepreneurs into the Church. Besides leading international backpacking trips and making documentaries, in his free time, Father has edited Totus Tuus, a preparation for Total Consecration to Mary, and launched a weekly podcast titled Dare Great Things for Christ.

To bring the Gospel message to the greatest number, Father has given his ministry a media outreach. He has appeared multiple times on EWTN’s Life on the Rock and Father Mitch Live, and Women of Grace. He has co-produced, with EWTN, four hour-long documentaries about the lives of the saints, and has been extensively interviewed on Catholic radio and podcasts, such as The Jennifer Fulwiler Show, Good Things Radio, and many more.

This ministry, carried by his passionate concern for forming and sending prayerful Catholic leaders into the world, has blossomed into the Faith and Leadership Consortium. Through formation and fellowship and prayer, leaders in business and in culture can find the help they need to dare great things for Christ. Above all else, Father Nathan is a Catholic priest. He has dedicated his priesthood to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and is humbled to serve Christ’s people so long as God gives him the opportunity.

  • Thomas K Sullivan

At the young age of 17, Thomas K Sullivan began a career serving in the United States Military (US Navy and Coast Guard). During his 12 years of service, Tom spent 5 of those years as a Company Commander in the US Navy, training young men and women in the ways of military life, and was awarded the designation as a "Master Training Specialist". Little did he know God was preparing him for a training field much bigger than he could imagine.

At the age of 30, Tom returned to the Catholic Faith and found his true mission in life. Using the same determination, skills and abilities that made him a successful and highly decorated military leader, Tom has spent the past 26 years in Catholic education, apologetics and evangelization.

In 1992 following a disabling injury which brought his military career to an end, Tom began working with St, Joseph Communications in California. During this time, he developed evangelization and educational materials for both national an international audiences. Tom also conceived and developed the Scott and Kimberly Hahn Adult Education on Video program now in thousands of homes and parishes. Tom is a founding member of the National Catholic Family Conference held each year in California and was the 1996 recipient of the annual Fulton J. Sheen award for his work in evangelization.

In 1998, Tom formed a youth outreach organization featuring the Catholic Rock Music group, Sons of Thunder Outreach. The group went on to record a highly requested CD "Fatherland", a Catholic rock music CD with lyrics telling the story of salvation history, conversion, the sacraments and more.

In 2001, Tom joined the staff of Living His Life Abundantly International. He serves as the Director of Operations, Director of Information Technology and Network Administrator as well as Senior radio engineer.

Tom is also the producer of the daily Television program "Women of Grace" on the EWTN Global Catholic Television Network.

He is currently working on an expanded book on the Sacrament of Confirmation titled “Warriors for the Kingdom.” He continues to spend much of his free time speaking about the Kingdom of God, the Rosary, and the importance of the sacraments and their relationship to Spiritual Warfare here on the battlefield of life!

Tom is a devoted husband to his wife Carol and father of six children; Jeffrey, Tommy, Maria, Michael, Joshua and Gabriel. He is also the proud Grandfather of his 15 grandchildren (currently).
