The announcement that the Gates Foundation is contributing $375 million for family planning efforts in Africa has sparked the ire of a Nigerian pro-life leader who is irked by the idea of a billionaire telling African women what to do with their bodies.
A prominent doctor is sounding the alarm on Melinda Gates’ new “Family Planning” initiative that will promote a dangerous new form of contraception to poor women in developing nations while reaping billions in profits to providers.
One of the world’s most prestigious international pro-life groups, the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), is calling upon supporters of the culture of life to sign a petition asking billionaire Melinda Gates to cancel her upcoming Family Planning Summit in which the world’s largest abortion providers will plan on how to promote contraception to poor women.
