Well, it’s December 21, 2012, the day many believe the world will end along with the Mayan calendar. So if you haven’t seen any signs that the earth’s rotational axis has shifted, or seen the start of the fiercest solar storm in recorded history, or caught a glimpse of the never-seen-before planet Nibiru hurtling toward earth, chances are this day will pass as quietly as yesterday.
The Vatican’s top astronomer says predictions that the world will end on December 21, 2012 are “not even worth discussing.”
A new poll has found that a surprising percentage of the world’s population – including 22 percent of Americans – believe the world will end during their lifetime.
As difficult as this is to believe, Family Radio Worldwide founder Harold Camping’s prediction that the worldwide “rapture” will strike on May 21, 2011 has struck fear into the hearts of millions around the globe.
