Father Pavone Confronts President in Bold Open Letter

In an open letter to President Barack Obama on the occasion of his inauguration, Father Frank Pavone, president and founder of Priests for Life, told the president he was suffering from the same “blind spot” as other abortion advocates who bemoan the killing of innocent children in Newtown, but do nothing to stop the slaughter of the defenseless unborn.

Homosexual Bishop’s Invocation Goes Unheard

It must have been one of those “God-incidences.” Yesterday’s invocation by openly homosexual Episcopal bishop Gene V. Robinson on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, which began with “O God of our many understandings,” wasn’t heard by too many people. A malfunctioning microphone and HBO’s decision not to include the prayer in their coverage resulted in Robinson’s message being largely unheard.

Obama Invites Gay Bishop to Pray at Inaugural Events

After angering gay rights supporters with the choice of pastor Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the inauguration, President-elect Barack Obama will try to appease his critics by inviting openly gay Episcopal bishop Gene V. Robinson to pray at this weekend’s kickoff events for the inauguration.
