Self-forgetting love

February 5

“The motive, principle, and end of the religious life is to make an absolute gift of self to God in a self-forgetting love, to end one’s own life in order to make room for God’s life.”

-St. Teresa Benedicta

Today’s Reflection:

Even if you are not a religious sister, you can make your life a gift of self to God by being quick to do His will in your everyday life. We can die to ourselves in small ways to make more room for God. How this will transform our daily activities! Offer each task in service to Him for the salvation of souls.
