Good Priests Abound!

As we live through this time of crisis in the Church, when the headlines are full of the misdeeds of some of our priests and bishops, it’s easy to lose our perspective and forget that there are many more good priests than bad.

This woman of grace, who hails from the Archdiocese of Boston, had this to say about a beloved priest in her parish:

Our parish does have a good priest. We call him Father JT. He is from Nigeria. If there was ever a man who spoke the word of God it is he! It is sometimes hard to understand his accent but his messages are very powerful, his demeanor is one of humility, gentleness and graciousness.

He particularly excels at our Adoration services on Friday evening. His messages there during that Mass are so powerful that everyone there is left in awe of his homily.

He is also in tune with the secular life and will carry on a very amusing conversation about sports, food and current events.

We are truly blessed to have him.

I pray for him every day.
