Women of Grace at Our Lady of Mercy in Deerfield Beach, Florida celebrated a grace-filled First Saturday on November 4th. These beautiful sacred sisters attended morning Mass together and then processed through the Holy Doors, designated for the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Together they prayed for the Holy Father, Pope Francis’s intentions to receive the Plenary Indulgence.
Regional Coordinator, Martha Nicolli, stated, “I encouraged the women to reflect upon Luke 6: 27-36, which is one of the themes of this Holy Year. Afterwards, we gathered in fellowship for breakfast at a nearby restaurant and attended St. Ambrose Catholic Church to receive the healing Sacrament of Reconciliation for the Plenary Indulgence.
Sunday, November 20th, the Feast of Christ the King, is the close of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. There is still time to make a Pilgrimage through the Holy Doors with your Women of Grace groups or your families! May Our Lady bless you and your families with the abundant mercy of Jesus Christ!”
