For Reflection:

Today, in honor of St. Therese’s feast day, I will find three “very little things” that I can offer to our Lord. May they help me grow in virtue.

27. THE REASON FOR OUR JOY
27.3 Holy Mary, Cause of our joy.
For twenty centuries the source from which joy has sprung has been the Church. It arrived with Jesus and remained in the form of His Mystical Body. In our day the happiest creatures ought to be those who are closest to Christ. this explains why no one is more joyful than Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. She who is full of grace is consequently full of joy. To be close to Mary is to live a blessed life…Hope and love are ignited…It is not the same to be with the Virgin as it is to be without her! Praying the Rosary is not the same as not praying it!…Let us resolve to pray the Rosary well during this month of October that is dedicated to Our Mother in Heaven and to this Marian devotion. Through our joy let us bring our friends and relatives to God.
