Document Drafted by U.S. Bishops in 2000 Said Enneagram “Not Credible”

As the Enneagram continues to seep its way into Catholic parishes, it’s interesting to read a document prepared by the U.S. bishops in 2000 which condemned the use of this typing system.

The document can be found here.

Christopher Rees, author of The Enneagram and Catholic Personalism, which was published in the April, 2001 issue of the prestigious Homiletics and Pastoral Review, explains the intrigues that surrounded the drafting of this document, which was never formally promulgated.  See http://www.reesnet.com/theology/enneagram/index.htm
