“I am certain that neither death nor life,Loved-Forever neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God that comes to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”

                                  ~Romans 8: 38-39
For Reflection:

According to St. Paul, what will be able to separate us from the love of God? Consider this: God loves us always, in spite of everything, no matter what. His mercy is greater than any sin, any transgression, any failure or weakness. His love is greater than any affliction, trial, or suffering. We have every reason to hope and trust in Him!

SUFFERING’S GRAND ENTRANCE
Finally, God spoke to Adam…Genesis 3:17-19…From these words, Adam discovers that the harmony he has experienced with nature has come to an end. Now, he will labor to make the ground produce the food he needs.  He will toil and sweat with no promise of yield. His work will be hard and his efforts burdensome. The ease of provision God intended for man through the goods of the earth has been perverted through Adam’s sin…, God’s closing words reveal the ultimate consequence of sin:  Man will die.  He will return to the ground out of which he has come–“you are dust, and to dust you shall return,” says God.  Adam discovers that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
