Like A Violet In The Snow

“Forgiveness is the fragrance that theflowersViolets in the snow violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.”

                               -Mark Twain

For Reflection:

When I have been crushed by a “heel” do I exude a sweet fragrance like the violet or am I truly crushed and broken, leaving no sweetness for those around me? According to the reflections for the month of December is my sacrifice acceptable to God? If God accepts it – then what else matters? “Forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Start the New Year with an attitude of gratitude for everything that happens to you, as God writes straight with crooked lines!!
