Gay “Safe Schools Czar” Tells God “Screw You, buddy.”

Serious concerns are being raised about Kevin Jennings, a homosexual activist appointed by President Obama to be the nation’s “Safe Schools Czar,” after memoirs surfaced in which Jennings wrote about his deep-seated hatred of God and religious believers and how he once bid God farewell with the words, “Screw you, buddy.”

According to a press release by the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, Jennings wrote in his book, Mama’s Boy, Preacher’s Son: A Memoir that his hatred of religion began at the age of 17 after his first experience of his homosexuality.

“I developed a new attitude toward God as a result,” he wrote. “Before, I was the one who was failing God; now I decided He was the one who had failed me . . . I decided I had done nothing wrong: He had, by promising to ‘set you free’ and never delivering on His promise. What had He done for me, other than make me feel shame and guilt? Squat. Screw you, buddy—I don’t need you around anymore, I decided.”

He ends by saying that for many years he “reacted violently to anyone who professed any kind of religion.”

The many problems with this expose are obvious, but it is especially disturbing in light of his position as director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. As a founding member of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Jennings will now be in a position to fulfill self-professed goal of introducing children to homosexuality.

According to Catholic League president Bill Donohue, Jennings “has a history of promoting homosexual conferences wherein unsafe sex practices are sold to underage kids. He is also a former drug user. As a counselor, he failed to notify the authorities of a sexual encounter between an adult gay man and a high school kid. And, not to be outdone, he has a history of bashing Christians.”

Jennings new boss, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, won’t do much to stop him from pushing a pro-gay curricula on the nation’s schools. Duncan, a veteran of Chicago’s public school system, once proposed and approved controversial plans for a special public high school designed for homosexuals.
