Attorney General Scrambles to Cover Links to Abortion

Attorney General Eric Holder’s family is scrambling to defuse an explosive new scandal tying which ties his wife to an abortion clinic and an abortionist who was indicted for Medicaid fraud.

Human Events is reporting that documents obtained by Watchdog reveal that the attorney general’s wife, Sharon, and sister in law are co-owners of a building located at 6210 Old National Highway, College Park which houses Old National Gynecology, the abortion practice of Dr. Tyrone Cecil Malloy. Malloy was indicted by a Georgia grand jury in 2011 of Medicaid fraud charges and has been reprimanded twice by the state medical board.

Sharon Holder, an OB/GYN practicing in Washington DC, chose not to respond to requests for comments on the revelations, but her sister-in-law, Margie Malone Tuckson, was happy to do so. Tuckson claims that tax records showing that the property belongs to her and Sharon “are wrong.”

“There is a clear conflict of interest when the man charged with pursuing those that abuse the system is also one who is engaged in some way with the business,” said Catherine Davis, founding member of the National Black Prolife Coalition and founder of The Restoration Project. “I don’t own this property and my sister does not own this property. We are not technically on this deed,” Tuckson said.

However, the reason their names don’t appear on the deed is because the family transferred ownership to a family trust in 2009, just eight months after President Barack Obama’s inauguration. But even the new deed directly names Holder’s wife and sister-in-law as trustees.

The attorney general, whose term in office has been riddled with scandal, is now being accused of a conflict of interest that helps to explain why he fails to prosecute abortion providers who run afoul of the law but is quick to punish pro-life advocates who counsel women in front of abortion clinics.

“It looks to me like the attorney general and his wife are in business with the abortion industry, which makes a lot of sense and helps explain why (Holder’s Justice Department) is prosecuting pro-lifers and losing the cases around the country,” said Operation Rescue president Troy Newman said.

“They have been attempting to prosecute pro-life people under the (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act of 1994), and as far as I know they have lost 100 percent of those cases in the last four years. This (Malone Holder’s property interest) explains his bias.”

He added: “I don’t think it’s a surprise to anybody that Holder and the Obama Administration are extremely biased against pro-life people and in favor of the pro-abortion crowd.”
