Beware of Biased Polling on HHS Mandate!

The public needs to be warned that some of the polls circulating these days alleging majority support among Americans and Catholics for the HHS mandate are actually from left-leaning pollsters, while polls from neutral pollsters - which show much different results - are being dismissed by the media.

80% of Americans Say Faith Important in Daily Life

by Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist In the wake of the recent ruling by a Wisconsin judge that the National Day of Prayer was unconstitutional, eight out of ten Americans told pollster Rasmussen that faith is at least somewhat important in their daily lives with 64 percent saying they believe the ruling of judges is more anti-religious than the Founding Fathers intended.

New Poll: Catholics Overwhelming Oppose Obama Invite to Notre Dame

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Writer A new Rasmussen poll has found that 60 percent of U.S. Catholics think Notre Dame should obey guidelines issued by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and should refrain from awarding an honorary degree to President Barack Obama at this weekend's commencement ceremonies.
