God has a specific plan for woman. He has given her a holy mission, a holy call.
We are praying for the grace of authentic femininity and spiritual
Motherhood.

Woman's Spiritual Call
As Christian women we are called to collaborate in the salvation of the world through the vocation of motherhood, whether it is exercised spiritually or physically. A unique privilege of our Blessed Mother’s motherhood was her ability to give Christ to the world both physically and spiritually.

Dear Lord,
In my imagination, I picture the Blessed Virgin Mary as she enters her cousin Elizabeth’s house. What joy she brought there that day! Mary carried Jesus to that home and Salvation entered the soul of Elizabeth and the soul of the baby she carried in her womb! In this, I see Mary as physical mother and spiritual mother. Pregnant with the life of Christ, she “birthed” Him in others. This is the role to which you call all women. May I conceive Jesus in my heart and carry Him to the hearts of others. Amen.
Scripture Passage for Meditation:
And Mary said, “My soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Because he that is mighty, has done great things for me; and holy is his name
(Luke 1:46-49). Douay-Rheims
Daily Reflection:
· Through my vocation as woman, the Lord has done great things for me and invites me to do great things in His name. Do I believe this? Identify anything that holds me back from believing this. Surrender this to Jesus.
· To be willing to undertake great things for God and for our neighbor is called magnanimity. It presupposes greatness of soul and nobility of character. How does the Blessed Mother demonstrate this virtue? To what extent is this virtue present in me? Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord. What does this mean? To what extent does my soul magnify Him?
· St. Elizabeth recognized the presence of Jesus in Mary. In what ways is the presence of Jesus evident in me? How do I give “birth” to Him in the everyday circumstances of my life and in the lives of others? Is there more I can do? What?
· Do I need to make changes (in my thinking, in my activities, in my attitudes) to accommodate my feminine mission? If so, what are they?
