God has a specific plan for woman. He has given her a holy mission, a holy call.
We are praying for the grace of authentic femininity and spiritual
Motherhood.

Woman's Gift
The gift of being a woman is the ability to give life. As Christian women we have an even greater privilege – to give supernatural life to others through a personal relationship with Christ in faith.
Marianne Evans Mount
Dear Lord,
Now I come to a deeper understanding of the special gift of woman – she has been called to bring life to the world. But, her physical capacity to bear life reflects a deep spiritual reality – woman is meant to bear spiritual life to the world. Help me to enter into this glorious and divine mission of bringing Your life to others. But first, lead me into an intimate relationship with You. Mold me and shape me into Your very image. Amen.
Scripture Passage for Meditation:
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit … I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide …
(John 15:5,16). RSV
Daily Reflection:
· According to my state in life, how seriously do I take my call to bring life to others? What challenges face me in fulfilling this call?
· Life is communicated in many ways. How do my thoughts, words and deeds communicate life - in my family, in my community, in the workplace, in my parish, in my recreation?
· Am I “abiding” daily in Jesus Christ? How? Looking back over my life, what spiritual “fruit” have I brought forth? Has it “abided?” Has it produced additional fruit?
· Throughout the Bible we find many examples of holy women. Consider Esther, Ruth, Deborah, Judith, Anna, Mary Magdalene and the Blessed Virgin. Complete the table below by recording the impact they had on the lives of others and/or the culture of their day and time, the attribute they exhibited, and any “abiding” fruit. Then consider how their example applies to your life.
