Dear Lord,
With the exception of Adam and Eve, every human life that has ever been and every human life that will ever be has been tucked away in the hidden recesses of the female person. What a special gift you have given to woman! How graciously You have chosen her! Help me to appreciate the life-bearing potential of my body. Give me spiritual eyes to see what more this tells me about your plan for me. Awaken my spirit to the holy and divine call of womanhood. Amen.

Daily Reflection:
· Consider the intricate splendor of the female body in light of its reproductive and nurturing capacity. What strikes you most about the precision with which God has created it? How does this reveal the grandeur of God’s divine plan?

· Woman participates in a unique way in God’s sovereign role of Creator. How does this specially “crown” the female person with God’s glory?

· Prayerfully ponder the possibility that the feminine ability to bear life may signify a corresponding spiritual reality. What might it be? What other thoughts or insights does this pondering bring?
