WGR10215 - Addictions Hit Home: Two Mothers' Stories, Part 2

6/9/2011

(Program 10215) Substance abuse is not a private affair. Rather its tentacles of destruction and mayhem spread far and long ensnaring the addict and his family members as well. And so, it is not only the addict who needs to find healing and hope, recovery and restoration, but all of those who love him as well. In our program yesterday, we met two mothers who shared the the stories of their drug-addicted sons and the hope and healing they found in Communita Cenacolo, and outreach to drug-addicts founded by Mother Elvira Petrozzi in Italy in 1983. Today they will share with us about Cenacolo's unique ministry to family members and why it is truly a community that renews family life. Program Guests: Judy Klein, Mary Lou McCall
