WGR10212 - A Vision Born of Love, Pt 1

6/6/2011

(Program 10212) In 1983 Sister Elvira Petrozzi was captivated by a holy desire to reach out to the many drug-addicted young men and women who lived in the streets of her Italian community. She was convinced that unconditional love, prayer, the Rosary, and the Sacraments were the remedy for their disillusionment and despair. And so it was with joy and zeal that Sister Elvira and two other women religious moved into a dilapidated house in Saluzzo, Italy to begin an outreach that has spawned fraternities throughout Italy, France, Croatia, Ireland, Brazil, Australia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and the United States of America. Our guests will tell us about Communita Cenacolo, its phenomenal success with the drug-addicted, and how the dream of one woman has helped thousands of young adults dare to dream again. Program Guests: Bishop Robert Baker, Albino and Joyce Aragno
