(Program 10273) Why does Our Lady come? How is it in keeping with her vocation and mission? To whom does she appear? And how do the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima exemplify all of them? On May 13, 1917, while they tended their sheep outside of a tiny Portuguese village, three shepherd children were visited by the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was the first of six apparitions Our Lady would make to them. In this Women of Grace series, we will discover why the Blessed Mother came, what her message was all about, and how it is that this message is even more significant now than it was then.
