We all experience tests of faith in our life, it is true. But some tests are far more difficult than others. Some offer us an acute suffering that cuts us to the quick and plunges us into the mystery of the passion.

Such was the test offered to Chris Faddis and his wife, Angela, when she was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. She passed 17 months later, leaving Chris a widower with two young children. Angela was 32.
