Catholics need to be realists, but realists who are hopeful --individuals who acknowledge the challenges of the day but see in them possibilities for excellence and the attainment of great things through the grace of God. And so it is that we look at one of the great challenges of our day – the challenge, the threat, to religious liberty. Is there a history of religious persecution toward the Church?
