Trust implies risk. And God took a big risk. He created you and me, and He gave us free will. And therein lies the risk. What would we do with our free will? Would we use it to love Him and in so doing love one another?

Or would we use it to separate ourselves from Him and in so doing cause injury and pain to ourselves and to each other? But, God took the risk anyway because that’s what love does. It risks. And that’s what we’re going to talk about in our program today - love, trust, risk, and hope.
