Let’s face it - we all need healing, the kind of healing that comes from the inside out. Healing the wounds of the heart. Perhaps one healing that is most critical in our relationship with God is the appropriation of grace to those most painful moments we experience in life - in moments of grief for example.

How we handle the devastations of life can plunge us deeply into the Divine Mystery of God the Father’s love for us, or make our hearts cold and bitter towards Him, preventing us from mining the treasury of grace that is there for us in the cross we have been offered.
