Today’s guest tells us that he has been fascinated as a priest by the different kinds of fathers he has encountered in the hearts of their children. The father image, he says, is often the lens through which we view the world and the judgment we make on others - even on our image of God the Father.

Many harbor within themselves a wound of the heart called the - father wound - which curtails their relationships with others as well as their relationship with God, often to deleterious extents.

But, here’s the good news - the father wound can be healed and God the Father wants to heal it! He is a God of hope and freedom, after all, and He wants us to have joy, true joy, in Him.
