Have you taken your temperature, today? We’re talking about the “stress temperature scale.” Get pen and paper ready. On this Friday after Thanksgiving, hostess Johnnette Benkovic sits down with Dr. Gregory Popcak, who—as a theologian and psychologist—is an expert in depression, anxiety, marriage and family problems.

They talk about how to get through the holidays when struggles in life are heavier than we can handle. Do you have certain behaviors that point out your stress is out of whack? What do you do to bring your “stress temperature down?” How do you keep it at a lower and more manageable level? Oh, and consider this: when the evil one hits you hard, how can you better respond to get him where it hits back the harder?

Listener Jennifer asks if there are any shortcuts to laying our problems at the foot of the Cross. She’s had a lot of stress and anxiety and she’s offered it up, but it’s not going away. Mary asks for suggestions to deal with someone who shuts himself away during the holidays and if that can even be a time of healing? Nancy has had several deaths in the last year. Are there any coping strategies when death occurs in clusters? This show may change your life or empower you to help change someone else’s life. It’s here for you: EWTN Radio’s “Women of Grace.”
