Host: Johnnette Benkovic

The Alabama State Legislature passes a resolution to honor the legacy of Mother Angelica. We let you listen to the motion as Alabama State Representative Randall Shed was reading it. Listener Sharon shares an inspiring memory of the time she met Mother Angelica in a radio station where Sharon was working at the time.

Caller Theresa went through an abortion and she got to exchange letters with Mother Angelica, which she still keeps. Since then, Mother has been a spiritual stronghold in her life. Theresa also shares a glory story about how, through prayer, her friend was able to come out of the ICU. Elena Rodriguez sits in for Johnnette Benkovic to talk about the news stories of the week with staff journalist at www.womenofgrace.com Sue Brinkmann.

Sue also shares the story of a mother who was paralyzed from the waist down when she shielded her two sons during a tornado. Sue reports about Catholics in Massachusetts calling for an investigation on a series of vandalism attacks against several churches. Listener Kathy suffers major depression and guilt so she is looking for spiritual help. Two callers follow up offering suggestions and prayers for Kathy. Frances asks Sue if she ever met Mother Angelica and what are her memories of Mother. Mario met Mother once and he shares how Mother helped him discern his vocation. Don’t miss this memorable show of EWTN Radio’s “Women of Grace.”
