Host: Johnnette Benkovic

Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis will see light at the end of the tunnel after refusing to issue same-sex, so-called “marriage” licenses because of her religious beliefs, as the new Kentucky governor promises her relief. A Catholic bishop shuts down a Church sign. When you find out what the sign said, you will be bewildered. The Little Sisters of the Poor will get their day in Court.

Elena Rodríguez sits in for Johnnette Benkovic to talk to staff researcher and journalist at www.womenofgrace.com Sue Brinkmann, who reports on these and other news stories. Caller Gloria asks for help for wives of deceased veterans and Sue Brinkmann pulls up a list of resources. Listener Ann shares a really nice story of her husband, a veteran who returned home safe from battle, to fight an even bigger battle on the home front. And wait until you hear how Ann met her husband. Another listener by the name of Ann calls in to pray for wounded veterans and their emotional and physical pains, as well as their family’s trials. Anna claims organizations like the Little Sisters of the Poor who take care of the sick and the elderly are victims of a government that is trying to take down religious groups just because they talk about God. Richard underlines the power of prayer at a graveside. Diana shares a wonderful witness about her priest—who is from Vietnam—emotionally singing “God Bless America,” today, on Veteran’s Day. Mayra is from Costa Rica—the only country in the world with no military forces—and she thanks and appreciates the veterans here in the United States. She also asks for prayers for Costa Rica—where the government is trying to impose greater allowances for abortion, has recently legalized in vitro fertilization and is trying to redefine marriage. After listening to today’s show, you will be more encouraged to appreciate your blessings and to share them with those around you. Listen, right here, to EWTN Radio’s “Women of Grace.”
