Embracing Our Heritage of Hebrew Worship

The goal of all worship of God is to journey into the Holy of Holies - that intimacy with the Lord, which is deep, contemplative union with Him. But to do that, the Scriptures teach us that we are to break through with the “high praises (tehillah)” spoken of in Psalm 149: 6. The Hebrews understood the wide dimension of expression and action that was incorporated in their worship of the Lord.
