The little known feast of Our Lady
of Expectation occurs on Dec. 18, a week
before Christmas and a time the Church
refers to as “the Week of Expectation.”
This feast is celebrated in many countries
such as Spain, Portugal, Poland, and
Italy, as well as in many religious orders.
