Women of Grace® is a Catholic apostolate which began in 2003 as an outreach of Living His Life Abundantly®, Inc, a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation. The mission of Women of Grace® is to transform the world one woman at a time by affirming women in their dignity and vocation as daughters of God and in their gift of The true and essential nature God has endowed to woman referred to by Blessed John Paul II as the feminine genius. authentic femininity™ through ongoing spiritual formation. Exploring all aspects of the " The essential nature and spirit of woman innately hers by virtue of her potentiality to bear another human person within herself. This genius of woman is characterized by an authentic subjectivity which, according to Blessed John Paul II, is marked by her capacity to see the person in his concrete form (M.D. #18), and respond to him with a sensitivity marked by self-giving. This feminine richness is perfectly portrayed in the Blessed Virgin Mary. feminine genius," Women of Grace® promotes the dignity of woman, the gift of true womanhood, woman's fundamental call and mission in the world, and presents the Blessed Virgin Mary as the exemplar of all women.

Women of Grace® informs, instructs, and inspires women through its many outreaches including Women of Grace® radio and television programs, the Women of Grace® Study Program, an outreach of Women of Grace® which seeks to identify, educate, develop, and train Catholic women to be active leaders and mentors of the day in accord with their state in life, infusing institutions, organizations and governmental agencies with Catholic moral and social teachings so as to bring about the culture of life. Named for St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein). the Benedicta Leadership Institute for Women®, life-changing conferences and retreats, and a dynamic new, interactive website. This multi-faceted approach aids Women of Grace® in achieving its mission by encouraging every woman to discover how her feminine nature holds the key to real fulfillment and lasting peace.

Johnnette Benkovic, President

Johnnette S. Benkovic is Founder and President of Women of Grace®, a Catholic apostolate for women featuring a number of outreaches including conferences, media, study groups and more. She is also Founder and President of Living His Life Abundantly® International, Inc. a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation. After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, in 1981 Johnnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: that is, one of sharing the Gospel message through the utilization of media. She has been an inspiring and consistent presence on Catholic radio (1987) and in Catholic television (1988) ever since. Read More

Bishop Terry Lavalley

Bishop Terry Lavalley, Director

Bishop LaValley, the second of six children of Ronald (deceased) and Doris LaValley, is a native of Mooers Forks, NY and was raised in St. Ann's Parish. He was born on March 26, 1956 and completed his primary and secondary education at Mooers Central in Mooers, NY and Northeastern Clinton Central School in Champlain, NY. He received a B.A. from the University of the State of New York and a Certificate of Studies in Philosophy from Wadhams Hall Seminary-College. Prior to his entrance into Wadhams Hall Seminary-College in January 1983, Bishop LaValley served a six-year tour of duty with the United States Navy. He completed the Pre-Theology Program at Wadhams Hall in May 1984 and received his Master of Divinity degree from Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora in May 1988. The bishop was ordained to the Diaconate on February 27, 1988 and to the Priesthood on September 24, 1988 by Bishop Stanislaus J. Brzana. Upon ordination, he served as deacon and parochial vicar at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Massena. During this time, he was named as the Associate Secretary of the Marriage Tribunal and was elected to serve on the Council of Priests. In 1992, the bishop began studies in Canon Law at St. Paul's University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada where he was awarded his M.C.L. and J.C.L in May 1994. Read More
