"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Today's Reflection:
Like our Mother, we too are called to develop a spirit of humility through self-denial. When we enter into voluntary mortification, our spiritual vision becomes clearer and more focused. God's will stands out with greater clarity against the backdrop of our everyday circumstances. Coupling our prayers of intercession with a humility achieved through mortification releases a spiritual dynamic which makes our mediation more effective.
How is God calling me to take these words to heart? How is He showing me the means to effective intercession?
