Black Mass is a Bust

ok civic centerThe much-heralded black mass and accompanying desecration of a statue of Our Lady on Monday appears to have been a bust with only a handful of people attending the blasphemous events while the faithful turned out in huge numbers to pray and offer reparation.

Fox25 is reporting that only a small group of people attended the black mass and desecration ritual hosted by the satanic Church of Ahriman in Oklahoma City. Held in the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall on Monday evening, it was conducted by a convicted sex offender named Adam Daniels, who refers to himself as Dastur Adam Daniels.

Daniels said he believes the low turnout was because people were afraid to attend.

“When you have the whole Roman legion out there, how likely are they to come and buy tickets?” he said, referring to the throngs of Christians who showed up to pray outside the event.

They were responding to a call by Archbishop Paul Coakley of Oklahoma City to join an ecumenical “Unity Prayer Service and Walk” which brought together more than 1,000 Christians of all denominations who walked the streets of the city, praying together in reparation for the blasphemy and for the conversion of Daniels.

"In response to this blasphemous event, and the many other acts of hatred and violence happening in our world in recent weeks, I am encouraging the faithful and people of good will to pray together for healing and peace, and for the Lord to watch over our community and protect us from evil and its many destructive and violent manifestations," said Archbishop Coakley. "I also ask that we pray for the conversion of this man and for all who have not yet come to know the Lord of Life."

The ecumenical walk included members of many Christian denominations such as Southern Baptist, Catholic, United Methodist, Episcopalian, Lutheran, nondenominational, Presbyterian and Pentecostal Holiness.

Walking arm-in-arm, some sang hymns while others prayed the Rosary as they marched to the First United Methodist Church of Oklahoma City for a service.

According to NewsOK, the crowd soon swelled to standing-room-only inside the church as various leaders conducted a prayer service and spoke from the pulpit.

“This is important to show solidarity with our fellow Christians, to make ourselves visible,” said Father Jorge Cabrera, pastor of Little Flower Catholic Church to the congregation. “Sometimes people think that evil is prevailing, but God is alive and active as always. We're here to proclaim that truth.”

Members of First United Methodist Church of Oklahoma City, Marty and Penny Anderson, of Oklahoma City, said they liked the idea of unifying with other Christian believers.

“For us, it's about overpowering darkness with light, so anything they do over there, we're going to overpower with goodness and love and Jesus,” said Marty Anderson of the First United Methodist Church.

Oklahoma City Police Staff Sgt. Anthony Carter received a standing ovation when he approached the podium to lead the assembly in a prayer for the military and law enforcement.

“Many of you are surprised that I'm here in uniform, but it gives assurance that God has His people everywhere,” Carter said, adding that he has been in ministry for 15 years.

The Reverend Emerson Falls, a Native American ministries specialist with the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, offered prayers for healing from the painful divisions in our nation

"Lord, we pray for the leaders of our government because they bear a heavy responsibility to manage the common good of our people. And we confess that many times we are a nation and a state divided. We divide by red states versus blue states, ‘black lives matter' versus ‘blue lives matter', race, ethnicity and so many other things. Oh Lord, we ask that you grant our leaders wisdom from above to lead us.”

When all was said and done, it was obvious who had won the day – the people of God – and Satan was once again reminded of his destiny.
