As a result, he will wholeheartedly detest sin, not only serious sin, which despoils him of that dignity and makes him fall miserably into the power of darkness, but even light sins which place an obstacle to the friendship of God and uninterrupted flow of His grace, thereby conditioning him for an irreparable fall.  He will be inspired to undertake sacrifice in order to root out the very last seed of evil and to acquire the divine virtues.  He will, as a consequence, be permeated and transformed by the mystical evangelical ferment.
