Prosecutors May Seek Death Penalty for Philadelphia Abortionist

An abortionist accused of running a “house of horrors” abortuary in Philadelphia that left one woman and scores of infants dead, pled not guilty at an arraignment hearing yesterday where prosecutors indicated they may seek the death penalty in a case that horrified the nation.

Controversial Organ Donation Program Kicks off in New York

A bizarre new program kicked off in the city of Manhattan this week that will monitor 9-1-1 calls pertaining to people who are in danger of dying of cardiac arrest for the purpose of dispatching an Organ Donation Unit to the home – without being summoned – when the person is pronounced dead in order to harvest organs.

U.S. Bishops Report Large Turnout for Exorcism Session

A revival of interest in the rite of exorcism appears to be sweeping across the country as more than 60 priests and 56 bishops opted to attend a special two-day conference on the ancient rite that was held just prior to the opening of the bishop’s annual assembly in Baltimore.
